Plastic Injection Over-Molding
Two-Shot Over-Molding is a specialty process which manufactures’ two or more materials and / or colors within the same Product or Part. In technical terms this means multiple materials are injected at two different points or more within the Injection Mold to create one final Part. This process can be utilized across singular or multiple cavities within the Injection Molding process.
The advantages of Two-Shot Molding include expanded / creative Part Design capabilities, Part or Product durability, flexibility in the manufacture of multi-component parts, Aesthetic and Decorative options, Textures and Alternative Material selection.

In-Mold Decorating (IMD) or In-Mold Labeling is a highly unique and specialized method of injection molding which introduces a label or applique' into the injection molding manufacturing process. This label or applique' can be of a decorative or instructional nature that becomes a semi-permanent, imbedded component of the molded object.
The In-Mold Decoration process injects molten material or plastic resin into a specially designed Tool in which the label or applique' becomes an integral part or attribute of the plastic molded product.
The label or applique' as it is referred too, lends itself to be designed in a way that conforms to the contours and / or features of the product. This special Injection Molding process provides increased durability, strength, creative design, decorative and cosmetic options to the finished goods and / or products. The In-Mold Decorating process or IMD as it is referred too, can reduce the end cost of Customers products by eliminating Secondary or Post Product Operations such as pad printing and expensive adhesives.
